Nutrition can make a huge difference in many areas of spine health. Good nutrition has been known to impact pain levels,  inflammation, and bone density, among other things. Understandably, there is a wide array of what good nutrition means, and yes, it is different for each of us because each of us is unique. However, learning more about nutrition is a good strategy, and might possibly give some of us an edge in feeling better.

For the latest in nutritional research and reporting on food-based studies, Dr. Greger puts together a really great website called, NutritionFacts.org. It contains both blog entries and what seems to be hundreds of short videos where Dr. Greger reports on the current status of food research and studies. The site is nicely organized and easily searchable, so you could look up “pain” and see roughly a half dozen (or more) videos related to that topic.
